Acrylic was the first medium that I used when I started my artistic journey as a teen. My mother paid for private painting lessons and I’m now proud to say I’m among countless others who learned to paint from the Bob Ross painting method. Many years later, I came back to painting with images of African animals (that I photographed on the safaris my husband and I took when we lived in South Africa) as my inspiration. It was really then that I started developing my own style and exploring technique. I use Winsor and Newton professional acrylic paint for its superior qualities and performance.
