Hi, I’m Sabrina, the artist of Dragonfly Orchid Studio. I’ve been drawing and painting since childhood. In my teens I took private painting lessons and in high school I took all the art classes offered. One of my absolute favorite classes in college was Drawing I.
l paint predominately in colored pencils and acrylic paint. Click the links for each of these mediums for more details explaining why. Other mediums also inspire me, so you will find paintings created with pastels, watercolor and even from my iPad using the Apple Pencil on this site too. Finished iPad paintings are then printed on beautiful Hahnemuhle cotton rag paper that gives a stunning result. Until recently prints from my iPad paintings were the only prints I offered. In 2021 I added a small collection of limited edition prints from my pastel originals as well.
