Hi, I’m Sabrina, the artist of Dragonfly Orchid Studio. I’ve been drawing and painting since childhood. In my teens I took private painting lessons and in high school I took all the art classes offered. One of my absolute favorite classes in college was Drawing I.
l paint predominately in colored pencils and acrylic paint. Click the links for each of these mediums for more details explaining why. Other mediums also inspire me, so you will find paintings created with pastels, watercolor and even from my iPad using the Apple Pencil on this site too. No matter the medium, I paint the beauty I’ve seen in nature. I am a wildlife artist painting everything from African Elephants to blue damselflies. On a commission basis, I paint landscapes as well. It is my hope that my paintings, which celebrate the beauty I’ve found in nature all around the globe, inspire a sense of awe and bring joy to the viewer.
